Stefano Spessotto

Consultant

Shaping refined forms that tell stories and enrich everyday living.

Background

Born in Pordenone, Italy, Stefano Spessotto trained at the Art School of Udine before beginning his career in advertising. His design path took shape with a pivotal collaboration with Cerasa in 1990, where his “Flut” model redefined bathroom furniture and marked a turning point in Italian design. Soon after, he founded Dedalo Studio, where he worked with renowned brands such as Benetton, Le Coq Sportif, K2, Inda, Scavolini, Valcucine, and Ditre Italia.

Design Philosophy

Spessotto’s design philosophy unites functional clarity with emotional depth. His creations are not merely objects but narratives, pieces that engage the user while retaining discipline of form. For Nicoline, he brings this vision into collections that embody Italian craftsmanship with a contemporary sensibility, offering elegant solutions for modern living.

Notable Works

Among his achievements are years as Artistic Director of Ditre Italia, where he shaped the company’s creative identity, and his own studio with its development of designs celebrated for their ability to transform compact living environments into refined, expressive spaces. Whether through versatile seating systems or striking signature pieces, his work consistently blends practicality with poetry.

Through his collaboration with Nicoline, Stefano Spessotto continues to craft designs that enrich interiors with timeless elegance, balancing innovation, functionality, and the quiet sophistication of Italian design.
